We are delighted to share the wonderful news of a healthy baby girl born through surrogacy with Ivy Surrogacy.
GC S delivered a beautiful baby girl on January 6, 2026, at 40 weeks gestation, via vaginal delivery, in Long Beach. She weighed 7 lb 4 oz at birth and arrived healthy, strong, and perfectly sized.
During pregnancy, fetal scans showed that the femur and humerus measurements were below the 3rd percentile. After a thorough evaluation by an experienced Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist, these findings were determined to be within normal variation. We are happy to report that the baby was born healthy, with excellent overall growth and outcomes—bringing immense relief and joy to everyone involved.
This surrogacy journey also carried a meaningful story of perseverance and trust. Before coming to Ivy Surrogacy, the intended parents had experienced multiple unsuccessful embryo transfers with another agency. After finding us, we carefully matched them with an experienced surrogate whom we knew well.
During the initial medical screening, the surrogate unexpectedly tested positive for marijuana. As an agency, we approach such findings with great caution. However, after careful review, the surrogate provided a credible explanation: just days before her screening, a workplace lunch party had been compromised when another employee secretly added marijuana to food. The employer later confirmed the incident in writing and terminated the responsible employee. A repeat test soon after returned negative.
Most importantly, this surrogate had completed four successful surrogacy journeys with our director Kelli in the past. Our team knew her character, values, and commitment firsthand. After open and transparent communication, the intended parents chose not to give up on her—and that trust made all the difference.
The very next embryo transfer was successful, and the pregnancy progressed smoothly from start to finish.
